China Unicom and Apple are stepping forward to aggressively promote the new iPhone for China. In mid November, a major new iPhone advertising campaign was launched across China. The iPhone ad promotions include billboard, print and television. Four new iPhone TV ads are now appearing in major Chinese provinces. During my current China travels, I’ve also seen several full page ads for iPhone in popular Chinese periodicals.

Nice to see that China Unicom is promoting localized apps in this television spot. Something I’d like to see more of in the signage at Wo Stores and other retail outlets in China. Watch all of the new China iPhone television ads on Apple’s China website > HERE

Thanks to x_trapnel and goubulibaozi for the heads up re the TV spots.

Thanks for all the writing on this trip Dan. I know how hard it can be when on the move in the Middle Kingdom.
