iPhone on sale in China at 1,000+ distribution points in 30 provinces

iPhone was formally launched in China on October 30th. The main launch ceremony was in Beijing at The Place. 30 provinces across China staged their own launch day events. iPhone officially launched in China! 30 cities conduct ceremonies

At 6:00 p.m. Beijing time today (October 30, 2009) the iPhone was officially launched in China. The Place in Beijing served as the launch festivities venue.
