iPhone was formally launched in China on October 30th. The main launch ceremony was in Beijing at The Place. 30 provinces across China staged their own launch day events. At 6:00 p.m. Beijing time today (October 30, 2009) the iPhone was officially launched in China. The Place in Beijing served as the launch festivities venue. According to reports in China’s tech press, several unnamed “Apple marketing executives” and a mystery guest will attend Friday’s (October 30) China Unicom iPhone launch in Beijing, China.
