What about Apple’s ongoing “cooperation talks” with China Mobile? A deal with China Mobile could still could happen, but TD-SCDMA network issues remain problematic. There is also a power struggle over who controls the value added services platform and App Store. Yet the closer Apple gets to deals with China Unicom and China Telecom, the bigger the case of flop sweats for China Mobile.
